| MOPS is a program designed
to meet the specific needs of mothers of preschoolers to the glory of Jesus Christ.
The MOPS group in not a Bible
study group; rather it involves instruction relating to womanhood, child - rearing, and
family relationships based on Biblical principles. The MOPS group is primarily led by mothers themselves with the addition of
a MOPS mentor (Titus 2:3-5). Also, the MOPS group provides child care and the opportunity for preschoolers to
experience Christ's love through the MOPPETS ministry; a pre-schoool-like program with spiritual
emphasis. |
| MOPS stands for Mothers of
Preschoolers, an organization designed for mothers with children under school age. Women
in MOPS come from different backgrounds and lifestyles, yet have
similar needs and a
shared desire to be the best mothers they can be. |
